Summary
We are currently seeking a seasoned public relations leader to serve as part of the global corporate marketing team. The ideal candidate will have the skills needed to design and implement a media and influencer relations program that expands the awareness and positive perceptions of CEB in the context of Talent Management around the world. In this role, you will be responsible for: global strategy design, message development and implementation, top-tier and trade media and influencer relations in North America, agency management, internal client management, partnership with regional Marketing and PR partners to customize and localize global programs.
Responsibilities
* To advance CEB’s brand in the Talent Management category by working with multiple colleagues, agencies and internal stakeholders around the world to: * Design global PR program that supports overall business and Marketing objectives * Set KPIs to measure and evaluate program and agency performance * Develop and disseminate key messages * Surface and pitch interesting story ideas to secure meaningful media coverage * Conduct aggressive North American media outreach to ensure CEB inclusion in talent-related articles/blogs * Draft and place executive-level bylined articles, blogs and OpEds * Extend established media relationships and channels * Identify and leverage new content channels to broaden reach of CEB content * Assess and recommend action on Tier-1 speaking opportunities in North America
Ideal Candidate
* 10-15 years of experience in PR or corporate communications, agency experience desired * Established top-tier media relationships and an ability to demonstrate media results * Extensive experience managing senior executives in a fast-paced environment * Aptitude using social media (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to connect with media and influencers * Strong editorial writing and track record of successful editorial placements * Exceptional client management skills * Ability to identify emerging opportunities and work collaboratively to take advantage of them * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects * Bachelor’s or advanced degree in PR, Journalism, Communications or English
