**Success Metrics:**
* Lead the Programs team (inclusive of product development and program administration/product delivery staff) in order to achieve 2016 growth objectives and strategic plan KPIs for existing programmatic product portfolio
* Provide leadership and vision needed to begin expanding current portfolio in line with 2016 strategy and overall mission, both by fostering work in progress and laying the groundwork for 2017 growth during 2017 strategic planning process
* Demonstrate strategic leadership on the matter of content distribution partnerships – taking advantage of in-person, consumer digital as well as healthcare technology channels – and guide Programs teams to execute this strategy
* Use existing subject matter expertise in an aspect of the healthcare industry and general familiarity with scientific methods to provide healthcare-related thought leadership to the Programs team and overall organization; if not already knowledgeable in the principles of breast and ovarian cancer risk assessment, prevention and early detection, demonstrate an affinity for learning by doing the reading and research necessary to quickly come up to speed on these topics
* Demonstrate a high bar for quality by leading and providing guidance to the Programs team (and other staff members) to ensure our core products, marketing materials, and overall communications to the public are rooted in accurate and research-validated content; that our products are developed and maintained with a keen eye towards consumer relevance and appeal; and that our program delivery through in-person experiences and through partnerships, is flawless
* Demonstrate an ability to represent Bright Pink with poise and credibility outside of the organization (e.g. at conferences, in medical industry settings, among peer organizations, as well as with constituents, funders and partners)
* Demonstrate an ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up like environment, while setting and delivering against ambitious, sometimes aggressive but achievable, goals
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
* Establish Programs strategy in collaboration with President, Chief Medical Officer and other members of the Bright Pink Executive team, as well as Programs team members
* As part of the Programs strategy, ensure Bright Pink’s ability to scale our programmatic reach; innovate on existing and create new programs and products; and deliver the mission to our constituents with a high level of vision, quality, accuracy and measurable, mission-driven impact
* Staff, coach and lead a team to achieve mission-oriented goals and position the organization for sustainable, long-term success
* Manage the Programs team to meet strategic objectives and KPIs on organization-wide, department-wide and individual scorecards
* Provide day-to-day guidance to Programs team members on subject matter, work product, program delivery, goal setting, and matters of general operations and personnel management
* Establish and manage the Programs budget within the context of the overall organization budget
* Establish (where needed) and maintain processes for project planning, project management and quality control within the Programs team and in cross-functional teams working on Programs-specific initiatives
* Use data and analytics to derive actionable insights into our constituent base and the success of our programs and products, swiftly incorporating them to ensure maximum program impact and reach
* Partner with the Bright Pink Executive Team to set organization vision and strategy
* Collaborate with team members responsible for fundraising by supporting efforts to solicit, secure and manage grant and other funding sources in support of overall mission delivery
* Carry forward established “double bottom line” goals for certain aspects of the Programs portfolio, by first seeking expansive mission delivery but also maximizing opportunities to create self-sustaining revenue streams associated with key products
* Collaborate with other members of the Executive Team and full staff in a productive cross-functional manner, and foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration among Programs team members
* Establish and maintain existing strategic relationships with outside organizations and partners
* Champion the maintenance and appropriate use of Salesforce (for CRM), Tableau (for analytics), Predictive Response (for email management) and other tools for Programs-specific purposes, ensuring the critical capture and appropriate use of constituent, supporter and programmatic data
* Lead the Programs team and the organization to be up to date on current trends, emerging issues, policy interventions, political landscape, key players and best practices within the breast/ovarian cancer world and general wellness industry in order to position Bright Pink as a thought leader within the women’s health and cancer prevention space
