Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, top performing Business Intelligence Analyst. The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the carrying out all activities associated with the measurement, analysis and reporting of the Company's online businesses and new businesses as they continue to develop.

* Lead and support activities associated with the measurement, analysis and reporting of the Company's online business * Conceptualize, develop and maintain on-going, and ad-hoc, reports to track key performance metrics primarily for operation departments and call center * Identify areas of improvement, drive implementation, and automation of procedures * Participate in defining and refining business analysis practices * Effectively present results and learning of strategic insights * Create a clear data strategy and development for analytical developments; deliver business insights and strategic implications * Provide analytical support for middle office operations; leveraging analytics to improve customer experience * Manage small projects beginning to end, including gathering requirements, project planning and delivery dates

**Technical Skills You’ll Need:** * Experience with database management and understanding of relational databases * Intermediate SQL knowledge * Intermediate MS Office knowledge, particularly MS Excel * Strong quantitative skills and the ability to correlate data to produce actionable insights * Experience with large datasets * Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau * Knowledge of statistical analysis and usage of statistical programing languages such as R and/or Python Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) preferred * Basic understanding of equity and options trading and brokerage operations **Soft Skills You’ll Need:** * Excellent time management skills * Previous experience working in a highly competitive and dynamic environment * Strong interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; possess the ability to articulate views crisply and convincingly * Strong attention to detail * Able to proactively work independently through obstacles while managing/prioritizing multiple tasks **Experience You’ll Bring:** * 2-3 years prior experience in an analyst role * Prior experience working in a financial services or related field strongly desired **Education Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Management Science, Mathematics or related field **What successful candidates have in common:** * Aperture Group, owner of OptionsHouse, is a company where innovation is not just encouraged but required.
