Summary
The Sales Operations team is led by the Senior Director of Sales Operations but will include the Sales Operations Specialist as a critical direct report, responsible for helping build and develop the function, along with being a key contributor to Sales’ success
Responsibilities
* Assist in building Salesforce into an optimal tool for sales effectiveness. * Act as lead person for developing and publishing leading and lagging metrics and scorecards for the sales team. * Facilitate the weekly sales forecast process. * Provide support to the sales quote to order process as needed. * Work cross-functionally to maintain and improve Salesforce reporting and dashboards for all teams. * Establish strong working relationships with Sales Leadership, Finance, Services, Marketing, Support, & other teams to achieve above objectives without constant management involvement
Ideal Candidate
* 2-4 years’ experience, previous roles as a consultant, business analyst, or finance analyst OR voracious appetite to learn and develop those skills * Ability to learn Salesforce.com and other supporting tools, and apply them to all aspects of the role. * Good problem solving and analytical skills, including experience with complex data structures and models * Aptitude for Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Insight Squared a plus. * Ability to develop thought leadership, present rigorous analysis and insights with clarity and confidence * Good customer relationship skills, and ability to multi-task as required * Can-do attitude willing to lead by example, do whatever it takes to succeed, and shift focus across multiple dimensions of the organization as needed
