- Focus principally on opportunities related to Group Travel, Special Projects, Meetings and Events
- Complete high-volume inbound and outbound activities via telephone, email and Salesforce.com
- Own the complete RFP and sales lifecycle
- Execute consultative sales including conducting needs assessments, positioning appropriate solutions and closing.
- Coordinate pricing proposals
- Manage leads in Salesforce.com
- Meet strict service level agreements, high quality standards and aggressive sales goals
- Partner with team members including Outside Sales and hotel franchisees
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum two years consultative sales experience preferred
- B2B sales experience preferred
- Possess a high degree of drive as evidenced by need for achievement, competitiveness and optimism
- Strong client focus and advocacy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce.com desirable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to develop and manage successful relationships
- Must be able to work in Rockville, MD headquarters
- Must have the flexibility to work 12-8pm
