Summary
As an accounting manager, you will have the opportunity to be a key player in shaping our accounting processes and control flows, tracking our performance and identifying new opportunities for improvements in our reporting, as we are scaling rapidly and are building a great and bespoke platform to support our company’s growth. You will work across all functions of the company, across our different locations, as well as with our external partners and advisors.
Responsibilities
* Manage significant aspects of the monthly financial close process (including AR and revenue, AP, consolidation, taxes, cash flows) and of the preparation of monthly reporting packages. * Prepare financial statements (in compliance with GAAP) and financial statements disclosures. * Assist in coordinating, planning and executing annual audits with our external auditors, as well as additional audits performed by debt providers. * Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyze actual vs. budget results. * Prepare and develop financial reports for management, investors, business partners and / or regulatory bodies. * Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices. * Manage automation of accounting processes as well as of other company-specific processes. * Work on various special projects and ad-hoc analyses as directed by management.
Ideal Candidate
**Must Have** * BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred * Professional certification (CPA) * At least 4 years of relevant professional industry experience, out of which at least 2 years of experience in at a “Big 4” accounting firm * Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.) * Good understanding of both financial and operational controls * Understanding of data analysis and forecasting * Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting systems * Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal * A great eye for detail * Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environment * Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements * Reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively **Nice To Have** * Knowledge of Israeli GAAP and Israeli tax requirements * Knowledge of (or experience in) the alternative lending industry * Experience with NetSuite * Experience in areas such as share-based compensation, equity and bad debt provisions
