Corporate Accounting Manager

This role will have responsibility for the day-to-day accounting operations in the US, the corporate consolidation, monthly reporting, technical accounting research, contract review, policy documentation, and all relevant support for audits and tax compliance. Candidates will be expected to work within a truly global team through interaction with multi-functional professionals in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

* Support all aspects of the monthly financial close process including account reconciliations, international consolidation, taxes, sales and state tax, and preparation of monthly reporting package. Ensure all activities have been recorded, accounts reconciled and reporting completed on a timely basis * Direct responsibility for the general ledger, procurement and accounts payable, sales commission liabilities, fixed assets by managing those teams: AP, GL and Commission * Prepare monthly closing entries as needed and account reconciliations for more complex areas of accounting, such as equity, leases and compensation reconciliations * Will be responsible for providing guidance to other team members, lead the company's consolidation process, review journal entries and ensure the accuracy of the financials using U.S. GAAP. Establish yourself as a key advisor to business partners on financial matters. Become a sought out, value added resource * Prepare financial statements, schedules and analyses, along with supporting documentation for the year-end audit and quarterly review * Administers and coordinates all bank services. Sets up new users and provides training on banking platform and receivable services. Serves as Treasury lead in ACH initiatives, merchant banking needs. Acts as the backup preparer and releaser for all daily wire transfers, FX operations such as spot trades and remote deposit * Work with external tax professionals and government agencies to ensure direct and indirect tax filings are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with quarterly and annual income tax requests * Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement within the close process and implement process improvements * Help establish and maintain financial policies and procedures * Assist in automation of accounting processes as well as of company-specific processes * Assist with any special projects as needed

* 3+ years of corporate accounting experience * 3+ year’s managerial experience * Prefer combination of public (Big 4 firms) and private (software-as-a-service) accounting experience (public company experience a plus) * Active CPA highly preferred * B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Math or related field * In-depth knowledge of GAAP, with ability to distinguish between theory vs. practical application * Proven experience in areas such as share-based compensation, equity and bad debt provisions * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * A team player, able to work collaboratively within the group and cross functionally spanning departments; and as an effective independent member * Must have the ability to proactively and creatively approach problem solving in order to execute multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment * Must have excellent critical thinking and prioritization skills * Fluent in English essential, other languages a plus, with strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization * Experience with hyper-growth environments preferred * Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environment * Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements * Reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively * IPO experience, a plus * International experience, a plus * Experience with NetSuite, a plus
