Summary
Campus Recruiters are members of the human resources department and form a team that plans and executes BKD’s university recruiting strategy under the guidance of the Campus Recruiting Director. Campus Recruiters are highly visible representatives of the firm that promote the BKD brand across university communities and maintain excellent relationships with candidates, faculty, career center staff, managing partners and other office personnel involved in the recruiting process. Campus Recruiters are responsible for understanding and communicating overall firm and individual office culture, working with offices to identify entry-level and intern hiring needs and attracting candidates to fill these needs across the firm. This position will be based in St. Louis, Missouri and will have responsibility for campuses in mid and eastern Missouri and southwest Illinois, serving BKD offices in St. Louis, MO and Decatur, IL. Regular travel to the various campuses and occasionally to the Decatur, IL office will be expected.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with managing partners and other campus recruiters to understand staffing needs across the firm * Develop and execute annual recruiting plan for target universities * Plan/coordinate and attend campus recruiting events such as career fairs, student organization meetings, campus interviews, networking events, mock interviews, resume review sessions, etc. * Effectively source candidates from targeted universities * Develop relationships with and serve as primary point of contact for candidates through the full recruiting cycle * Screen candidates through personal interaction, resume review and interviews * Coordinate with offices to plan and execute office interview process; participate in office interview events * Manage ATS; maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates and candidate interactions * Coordinate internship programs and employee onboarding processes as needed * Participate in development and execution of national recruiting activities as needed * Manage full-cycle recruitment process for all noncampus hires * Manage ATS; maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates and candidate interactions * Effectively source and screen candidates through online sources (LinkedIn), personal interaction, resume review and interviews * Consult with hiring managers and others to develop job descriptions, understand candidate profile, and set expectations * Develop relationships with and serve as primary point of contact for candidates through hire date * Coordinate interview process with applicable office personnel * Plan and coordinate onboarding process in collaboration with HR

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude * High degree of initiative; ability to think proactively and problem-solve * Excellent project management, decision-making, writing and oral communication skills * Ability to command the attention and respect of firm leaders * Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and email * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to confidently and comfortably deliver presentations and speak in front of large groups * Ability to quickly learn firm policies, procedures, infrastructure and service lines * Solid event planning abilities * Knowledge of laws and practices applicable to recruiting and hiring or ability to gain this knowledge quickly and efficiently * Knowledge of professional service environment preferred **Education:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business or related field **Experience:** * 3 or more years of related experience **Certifications:** * None required
