Summary
The Talent Management Program Specialist manages Strategic Talent Management programs which include succession planning for key positions; development programs and processes to enhance the capabilities and commitment of our future leadership pipeline; programs to improve talent retention and development and establish/maintain metrics to ensure effectiveness of such programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and updates the talent dashboard/metrics for Nuclear, Security and Environmental (NS&E) Global Business Unit (GBU). - Manages Talent programs (with guidance/support from the NS&E Talent & Learning Development Manager) in research, data collection, and metrics for the senior level talent management initiatives (e.g. NS&E People Days, Business Reviews, Annual Leadership Reviews, etc.). Planning, coordination, and development of material for events, such as People Day. Maintain Talent Management systems and data integrity. - Provides direct support to the NS&E Talent & Learning Development in the administration of Learning and Development activities, to include assigning, tracking and reporting on training requirements and employee engagement activities. - Coordinates and provides day-to-day support of the NS&E Mentoring program. Coordinates NS&E’s Global Business Meeting participant list on an annual basis. - Provides support to the tuition reimbursement program and the performance management process. - Provides support to the NS&E onboarding program. - Coordinates with the HR Representatives, HR Project Managers, and Functional Managers in meeting identified NS&E Talent Management initiatives. - Facilitates and supports the delivery of leadership and diversity training as well as other HR training programs as needed.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** - Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years’ progressive professional human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. - Must have the right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship. **Minimum Requirements:** - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint. Above intermediate – advanced skills in Excel. - Working knowledge of basic Business Objects report running skills. - Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments. - Demonstrated strong attention to detail in previous assignments. - Be comfortable interfacing directly with senior and executive management. - Possess the ability to adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities and deadlines and provide timely responses to our customers, working with minimal supervision. - Required to show initiative, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible and organized. - Be able to work in a fast-paced, team based environment. - Be a contributing team member who is willing to step in to support critical department deadlines as required. - Desire to learn and expand skill base. - Able to work flexible and/or additional working hours during Key HR initiative time periods. - Able to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality and discretion. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in HR systems to include TalentWorks (Success Factors), SAP/HRMS, and Business Objects
