Summary
The receptionist will manage the flow of visitors through the business and provide administrative assistance to the department.
Responsibilities
* Greets and directs visitors * Answers and/or refers inquiries * Maintains security by following procedures and controlling access (issues and tracks temporary employee badges, delivers employee replacement badges, maintains visitor log, etc.) * Receives and sends faxes, mail, and email * Performs additional duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:** * Possession of High School Diploma * Customer service experience is a plus * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Strong written and verbal communication skills **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** * Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos * Ability to write simple correspondence * Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions * Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature * Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization * Ability to be flexible; able to adapt to changing priorities * Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and multitask * Attention to detail * Strong organizational skills
