Summary

The position will provide support to the Benefits team.

Responsibilities

Create monthly employee newsletters from the Benefits Dept.
Prepare various employee communications from the Benefits Dept.
Assist with administering our Wellness Program.
Assist in auditing benefits data
Preparation for benefits related events, such as fairs, biometric testing, employee training, etc.
Provide excellent customer service by efficiently resolving benefit problems with vendor(s) and/or HR Department by working directly with employees and their healthcare providers, when appropriate.
Sends notification to new hires for a variety of audits when necessary

**Qualifications:**

**Desired Major(s):** Business, Psychology, Communications

**Grade Level:** Junior and above

**Degree Level:** Working towards Bachelor's Degree

**GPA:** 3.0 and above

**Keys to Success:**

* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
* Effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

**Physical Demands.**

* This job position is designated as a safety sensitive position.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
* Must be able to carry and transport up to 25 pounds up to 60 feet.
* Requires standing for extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling.
* Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
* Requires sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to type for extended periods of time.
* Requires being able to hear and speak with others in-person or on the phone.
* Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
