Summary
The loss control representative is responsible to serve as the primary contact handling inquiries from underwriters, in-house loss control consultants and vendors.
Responsibilities
* Establishes and maintains a heavy volume of electronic files and email correspondence * Quality control of field reports * Answer, research, and resolve various questions and issues from internal staff, insureds and agents * Processes correspondence to insureds and agents * Maintains tracking system for follow up letters * Manages loss control files on server * Assigns loss control surveys to field consultants * Assists with accounts payable * Provides support to the department * Completes projects on a daily, weekly and month basis * Processes monthly compliance letters and incoming mail
Ideal Candidate
* High School diploma or GED required * 3+ years of general clerical/office experience * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and ability to learn new software programs * Experience in the insurance industry a plus * Must be organized and detail oriented * Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines * Capacity to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change
