Summary
As a Principal of Marketing Strategy and Data Science at AgilOne you will work closely with both prospective and current customers. We help prospective customers build compelling business cases for transforming their business operations, customer experience, marketing and customer facing organizations to become data-driven as a competitive advantage. We work with current customers to transform, measure and increase the value realized from their use of the AgilOne Customer Cloud. The heart of the Strategy and Data Science organization is the delivery of brief, intense, client-facing pre-sale engagements that may include direct observation of a customer's marketing strategy and tactics, estimation/calculation of the projected business benefits of implementing a new system, and presentation of results to key executive decision makers. This role is part of the Sales and Services team and also functions as the lead during our services engagements with existing customers. The Principal will take information collected directly with customers and leverage our proven analytics and methodology to develop recommendations on how our customers can drive quantifiable value from the AgilOne customer cloud. We seek individuals with strong business acumen and who are adept at leveraging data and insights to lead C level executives to rethink their business.
Responsibilities
* Supporting AgilOne's sales executives and sales management with solution selling into prospect account base focusing on new logo acquisition as well as existing customers. * Proven experience in partnering with sales executives to mutually plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles * Developing compelling and winning customer/sector offering and propositions. * Understand customer pain and requirements to get to a solution * Work in fast paced/changing environment * Understand how technology and function work together to meet clients business needs * Presentation to C-level executives * Run value discovery and business diagnostics activities and play these back to clients * Demonstration of AgilOne solution/propositions/offerings * Work with client directly to run POC * Understand competitive landscape * Reports to Head of Sales * Management of the marketing strategy and programs team
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years of experience in global management consulting organization * Familiarity of modern marketing practices including data-driven marketing, data science, digital marketing, ecosystem * Ability to talk to marketers and IT professionals with credibility to bridge the gap between data science, technology and marketing * Team player able to work closely with sales executives and other cross-functional departments * Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner * Successful startup to mature company experience a big plus * Ability to assess, formulate, and articulate strategy * Strong interest in multi-channel marketing, data/analytics, customer insights, and campaign management * Able to work closely with both senior level clients and partners * Saas experience
