Summary
We are looking for a digital marketing star to help build and scale our display and social marketing channels with a focus on performance and profitability. You will be responsible for standing up test campaigns for several of our brands in both Adwords and Facebook that employ a variety of different targeting tactics from leveraging proprietary customer data to the extensive array of criteria available in the market. The ideal candidate has an excellent knowledge of performance media buying, ad/martech software, and overall campaign management.
Responsibilities
- Creative development and optimization – with the help of internal and external designers, you will develop ads and test them in market; then building upon the test learnings, iterate upon and optimize future ads. You will also coordinate landing page tests/updates with the Sr. Manager responsible for landing pages. - Campaign Management – day-to-day ownership of all campaign aspects (bidding, creative, targeting, etc). Plan on continuous test/learn cycles, with the goal of building scalable, ROI positive campaigns. Performance reporting – on a regular basis, provide detailed and comprehensive analyses to senior management including recommendations on future marketing investment - Budget management and optimization – ensure budget is allocated appropriately among tests and stable campaigns; provide monthly forecasting updates - Aid in the exploration of new marketing software that will help us scale our internal display and social channels - Share knowledge and experience with existing team members
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree - 5 + years experience managing display and/or social campaigns - Proficiency using media buying software such as AdWords and Facebook / other social platforms - Quantitative wizard – data geeks wanted; must be very proficient with Excel and be able to analyze campaign performance with the support of the data analytics team - Performance marketing oriented with proven results in driving new account/customer growth - Creative eye and sensibility – while the quantitative skills are critical, so is the ability to know what kind of messaging and creative will delivery response and results - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, where resourcefulness and initiative are highly rewarded - Knowledge of relevant online analytics tools and online marketing service providers/solutions - Detail focused with proven ability to execute and implement acquisition programs - As provided in NetSpend's Background Check policy, eligible candidates may be subject to drug, criminal history, and credit checks, which will be conducted and used in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws
