Summary
The head of Marketing will lead corporate, product and field marketing for AGDATA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive awareness, leads, and sales. This includes the development and management of content for the company’s website, social media presence, printed content and other marketing materials as necessary. This position requires someone who can develop the strategy in a cross matrixed organization, gain consensus and then execute on the plan. The right candidate will be willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
Responsibilities
**Corporate Marketing** * Create and drive overall marketing strategy for the AGDATA Brand * Develop programs with goals and objectives that are quantifiable and measurable * Implement and manage marketing budget * Work closely with Sales Operations to select, leverage and manage marketing processes and tools * Leverage data and analytics to drive insights * Leverage the current AGDATA Brand to develop product based branding as we release new products to the market (Services & Software) * Create and deliver a PR plan * Lead strategy to leverage social media * Own our web presence including the company website * Develop and enable the company on our mission, vision and overall strategy * Drive the process for the development of the company vision **Product Marketing** * Work closely with the VP, Product Management and Product Managers * Develop product positioning and messaging * Work with HR on Field/Corporate Enablement * Plan and execute marketing for Product launches * Competitive Market Intelligence * Implement Demand generation campaigns **Field Marketing** * Develop our conference and industry organization strategy to ensure all activities are attached to revenue and growth targets * Prepare conference content as needed based on the requirements of the conference * Assist in setting up conference requirements
Ideal Candidate
* 7+ years’ experience in marketing * Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to succinctly and effectively explain complex technology concepts * Deep knowledge of successful strategies in software or professional marketing * Relevant industry knowledge in agriculture a plus * The ability to drive high-impact results * Experience in managing vendors * Ability to influence without authority * Understands that there is an existing environment where change is the only constant and has agility to move as the company continues to shift
