Summary
Plans, develops, coordinates, and administers talent development training programs. Assists in the recruitment of designated professional candidates. Directly supervises Human Resources Assistant and Human Resources Clerk.
Responsibilities
* Confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and conduct training analysis. * Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements for budget preparation. * Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services. * Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer based training. * Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. * Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training. * Maintains training records through SuccessFactors and prepares statistical reports as needed. * Coordinates established training courses with technical and professional courses offered by community schools. * Stay abreast of new developments, methods, and techniques in the training field. * Administers employee Educational Reimbursement Program * Conducts or arranges for skills, intelligence, or psychological testing of applicants and employees. * Bi-annually develops, administers, and compiles data related to employee surveys * Responsible for leading the evaluation of survey data discussions and assisting in the development of action plans to meet identified issues. * Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and assisting with the selection of Sales and certain professional positions * Oversees personnel transactions for salaried employees including promotions, performance reviews, and salary administration. * Assists in the development of personnel policies, handbook, and new employee orientation. * Oversees salaried employee leaves including FMLA, medical and personal. * Assists in the development and implementation of the HR Strategic Plan. * Assists annually in the preparation of HR department budget * Assists in the development of company newsletter. * Oversees employee communication channels including MagicBox, RoundTable, and company e-mail communications * Responsible for maintenance of Learning Library and the Employee Computer Center * Assists employees and managers with issues related to employee development and employment related issues * Assists with internal investigations as requested. * Documents training content and employee participation. * Assists in the development and monitoring of the Corporate Talent Review and Succession plan * Responsible for developing learning plans for high potentials and successors related to the Talent Review and Succession * Responsible for payroll HRIS system * Serves as SAP Master User for HTR and Transformation and Learning. * Assists with development and implementation of Corporate Initiatives related to Talent Development.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university * Minimum of five years experience in the development and administration of corporate training and employee development programs.
