A&D is a leading designer and manufacturer of blood pressure monitors, telemedicine sensors, home health monitoring technology, scales, balances and other precision measuring devices for a variety of applications.
Summary
We currently have an opening in our San Jose office for a Weighing Product Marketing Manager. Responsible for marketing activities for the family of Instrumentation and Weighing products. The Marketing Manager owns the development and execution of strategic pricing and promotional programs, market research initiatives, and overall coordination of external New Product Introduction activity. Frequent communication with Senior Management, Sales and Sales Management to provide current marketing analysis and Marketing program recommendations.
Responsibilities
* Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the innovative marketing programs that drive end user and reseller demand for your products, including input into channel sales tactics. * Market intelligence – be the expert on the products, buyers, buying criteria, channels, competition and market trends * Development, management and monthly reporting of Key Performance Indicators to track/drive business performance * Pricing and discount analysis – Maintain key pricing and discount metrics for th entire Instrumentation and Weighing product line * Product launch – Together with the Product Managers, develop, coordinate and execute the launch of new products and related activities including sales and channel training, and manage the cross-functional implementation. * Assist in the development of product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products * Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of Instrumentation and Weighing products * Understands buying criteria to effectively transfer that knowledge to the sales channel. * Develop brand marketing programs including: material development (digital, print, etc.), press releases, advertisements, conferences and presentations
Ideal Candidate
**Organizational relationships:** * Reporting directly to the SBU Director, Weighing Division, frequent contact with A&D Product Management, engineers, sales and marketing personnel and customers. Frequent contact with parent company associates, including R&D, Engineering, and Marketing. **Job Specifications:** * Requires BS Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in a Marketing management role in the Commercial and/or Industrial markets.
