Summary
The Application Advisor will assist in reviewing applications and notifying prospective students and Admissions Counselors about missing application items. This is a key role in the success of the Admissions teams.
Responsibilities
**Applications pre-complete:** * Upon submission, contact applicant to schedule interview if necessary * Review incomplete files based on program guidelines and determine missing/incomplete documents on a continuous basis * Review files with admission managers to establish contact priority * Contact applicant to review and reconfirm educational history, request outstanding application items and confirm recommender contact information. (phone call followed by email as appropriate) * Update Salesforce record with contact, including copy of email and student response if available * Offer to assist in sending emails for missing letters of recommendation * Follow up with sending institutions to confirm transcript order * Check websites for applicant scores **Applications post-complete:** * Notify applicant if updated document is required (e.g., blank documents, non-viewable video interview, degree conferral tracks) * Follow up with enrolled students to obtain updated/missing docs **Conditional admits:** * Review conditional admit files immediately after complete date for document follow up * Work with Post Enrollment Services to ensure that conditions are satisfied and registration holds removed **Transcript database:** * Update transcript request database as needed
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's Degree * 2-5 years of customer service experience * Experience working in a University setting preferred * Strong attention to detail * Exceptional follow up skills * Ability to meet critical deadlines under pressure * Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same timeb
