The SSAT is the required admission test for many of the best independent schools in the world. This test is one important step on your path to an independent school education. Your SSAT score is just one part of your complete application to an independent school, and while it is important, it is not the only criteria for admission.
Summary
This role will serve as the lead for digital marketing related functions, while supplementing traditional marketing strategies and tactics. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and work in conjunction with the directors of membership, API service, test administration, student engagement, and outreach. The Digital Marketing Specialist facilitates the planning, delivery, and optimization of digital marketing program using proven channel strategies, best practices, tools and preferred resources.
Responsibilities
Champion SSATB’s digital communication channels to strategically disseminate information on SSATB’s membership, products, services, and assessment to its membership and consumer data Hands-on management and ownership of the company’s two Joomla-based websites, including content development and scheduling (including microsites and landing pages), site extension updates done with outside programmer, and deployment of SEO/SEM strategy Responsible digital communications campaign production, collaborating with necessary internal departments and external partners Translate customer behavior into campaigns that influence further engagement, grow website traffic, and increase conversions through tracking of campaign metrics, such as leads generated and ROI to A/B test and develop a repeatable system. Oversight and development of social media postings in conjunction with member services, data products, test administration, and student portal managers Work with marketing team in designing and delivering effective individual digital marketing programs, tied to specific marketing and business goals Assist with the analytics, analysis, packaging and communication of completed programs. Serve visionary in exploring digital marketing programs, in the short- and long-term, to maximize strategic business and marketing goals Management of company’s family education webinar program Cultivate/write/collaborate to produce and deliver content for use in email communications, websites, newsletters, blogs, and other communications as requested Regularly report and seek business intelligence, competitor analysis, and performance analytics on reporting on KPIs and user trends
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree - 5+ years of experience executing effective digital marketing communications - Proficient in Joomla or other web based CMS systems - Proficient to expert level with Google Analytics - Experience with SEO, SEM • Proficient to expert level in Salesforce (specifically Exact Target) • Experience in social media marketing (Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus) - Familiarity with overall digital best practices – usability, web writing, information architecture, design, analytics - Excellent writing/communications skills - Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment - Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills - Excellent customer service skills - Proven collaborator
