Summary
We seek an experienced marketing professional to be a Solution Marketing Lead in our Evanston, IL office. Reporting to the Pharmaceutical Industry Marketing Manager, this role is a business partner and advisor to ZS practice leads, using knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and ZS offerings to drives a marketing strategy for our pharmaceutical industry marketing business area.
Responsibilities
- Work with manager to develop and implement a marketing strategy that incorporates high impact marketing activities such as sales enablement, market awareness, lead generation and customer references; - Perform market research and competitive analysis to support the marketing strategy; - Create compelling value proposition statements for a variety of marketing and sales channels; - Develop marketing collateral and sales tools that support solution selling efforts including brochures, web copy, thought leadership articles, case studies, videos, presentations, sales primers, etc.; - Collaborate on PR strategy and coordinate public relations efforts with hands-on support from ZS’ PR agency; - Develop and execute awareness and lead generation campaigns, which may include digital and social marketing, e-mail, events, paid search, etc.; - Report outcomes to senior leaders, demonstrating impact of marketing activities and offering clear recommendations for future improvements; - Create and work within budget that supports the established marketing plan; - Attend and participate in industry events and conferences; - Manage relationships with key associations and relevant analysts.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree required in marketing or a related business discipline, advanced degree preferred; - 5+ years of marketing experience, professional services preferred, experience marketing to the pharmaceutical industry a plus; - Experience developing and managing plans, budgets and deadlines as well as achieving and evaluating results; - Demonstrated experience translating value propositions into creative and unique sales materials, including brochures, web copy, thought leadership, presentations and sales primers; - Exceptional presentation and communication skills – both verbal and written, including experience presenting to and influencing senior executives in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment; - Must be a self-starter, strategic thinker and creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
