- Managing training session coordination, from beginning to end, at all division sites (3 domestic and 2 international)
- Collaborating with internal trainers and external training vendors for classroom- and web-based training.
- Managing the training portfolio in the internal Learning Management System (LMS).
- Working with colleagues and vendors to ensure training material is up-to-date and available for students.
- Maintaining the Cambridge Training Room and ensuring the training machines are updated with the most recent applications and training files.
- Working with the remote site contacts to make sure training is successful, including booking rooms, finding someone to meet external instructors, making sure training computers are updated, etc.
- Drafting all training-related communications and submitting entries to the global newsletters and intranet sites.
- Communicating directly with end users to answer their inquiries and inform them of training information and request post-training feedback.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in a communications or other humanities-related fields.
- Previous experience as a Training Coordinator, and have proven success of organizing events, such as training sessions, including scheduling, planning, finding resources, managing registration, executing, and wrapping up.
- Proficiency in the PC/Windows environment, including Microsoft Office 2010, as well as experience with an LMS
- Have experience working, or desire to work, in a global environment, across multicultural, language, and time barriers.
- Be extremely organized and able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment.
- Be self-motivated and independent; proactive in anticipating needs and thinking beyond the guidelines provided.
- Be a quick learner, in order to understand the new technology Informatics develops.
- Be detail oriented and adhere to fluid timelines.
