Summary
Yelp is looking for a Sales Operations Technical Analyst to join our fast growing Scottsdale Revenue Operations team. This role is an entry level, non-client facing position, which involves working closely with a variety of different internal groups including Sales, Account Management, Business Operations, Marketing and Product. As a Technical Analyst you will be responsible for generating reporting and measurement data to support internal Stakeholders as well as Yelp’s overall support strategy. Tasks will be diverse and varied from day to day, and the ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly is important. From working with Account Management to deliver key performance indicators allowing for quicker response times, or helping Operations clean our listings database in bulk, to providing staffing analysis and workforce management support, strong technical background is necessary to draw different datasets together and provide in-depth comparisons. The attributes key to succeeding in this high-volume position are attention to detail, strong organizational skills, natural curiosity, a willingness to learn, patience, and a great customer service attitude. Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to the Sales Operations team and other internal stakeholders via hands-on Excel while leveraging other tools as necessary (Data Warehouse, SQL, SFDC, Wave, Google, Tableau). * Develop and execute automation strategies that will improve Revenue Operations productivity (for example how we start and stop advertising programs within our internal delivery system). * Contribute to the growth and sustainment of our bulk QA process to ensure deals are in compliance with Yelp's pricing policies and approval processes. * Support our Data Integrity team by leveraging our Data Warehouse and SQL queries to allow for bulk organization of client records and listings. * Help clean the Yelp listings database and identify sales opportunities (pipeline management).Partner with Business Operations and Marketing to execute on strategies that will allow for increased Sales/Support productivity and more sellable listings. * Partner with Sales and Operations training team to develop data driven feedback and accountability models. * Help keep the Revenue Operations department and the larger sales organization running smoothly on a day-to-day by creating workforce management KPIs and analysis.
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree required * Proven experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches. * Superior hands-on analytic skills including very strong MS Excel. * Unafraid of large data sets and a willingness to learn SQL (prior relational database or SQL experience a plus) * Experience with data warehouse/BI tools * Strong interpersonal collaboration with both executive management and front-line employees and the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights. * Customer service attitude - flexible, patient, courteous, accountable, professional * Pro-active and self-driven, quick learner
