Summary
As a Sales Operations Program Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the effectiveness of Zones by delivering on business and sales partnerships, client-support, business insight, and operational excellence. We do this through effective planning, world class sales operations, and also connecting with sales leadership and delivering on our Sales Operations playbook. You will work directly with senior executives across Zones and Client teams. You will provide insight and advice on operational needs for strategic accounts by owning and driving key programs, participating in overall strategy decisions, creative and analytical problem solving, and provide deep business insight and assist in implementing programs and processes. You will be accountable for detailed, scalable, accurate and flexible business insight that supports sales and client support decision making. The successful candidate will think strategically at a global level, develop approaches that facilitate consistent management of business execution and the detail of documented processes, as well as build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position will be based in Auburn, WA reporting to the Sales Service Delivery Manager and is part of the overall Operations team.
Responsibilities
* Manage escalations in a professional manner * Break down communication to an issue/action/resolution level * Investigate issues end to end * Create a presentation to outline the facts and data * Recommend a solution and present * Act as a liaison between clients, sales and other departments to: * Remove obstacles * Manage escalations * Facilitate delivery of service to clients * Building trusting relationships with Sales and Corporate Support leadership * Frequent communication * Drive to results * Follow-through * Demonstrate and ensure the importance of involving the Operations team from the beginning for any launch, projects, etc. * Analyze and develop processes to streamline efficiencies and impact on cost, delivery, service, and other metrics * Conduct root cause analysis and communicate results to appropriate key stakeholders * Propose recommendations for short-term and long-term improvement and present key stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS in Business, IT or a related field required, or related experience * 3+ years required of experience in sales, business operations, or marketing related role with project coordination emphasis or analytical emphasis * Strong understanding or familiarity of Process mapping * Basic sales skills to gain client acceptance on solutions principles and ensure the agreement is understood by impacted parties such as SLAs, reporting, timelines, etc. for managed accounts * Deep understanding of business models and of meeting/supporting revenue goals * Strong communication skills with the ability to work and lead through influence in a cross-group environment, and influence without authority in driving to resolution * Ability to gather technical requirements in a client-facing setting * A deep understanding of business management metrics * Basic understanding of project management methodology * Experience with change management * Ability to manage competing/shifting priorities, project timelines and stakeholder action items * Critical thinking capabilities to analyze data to identify root cause issues and utilize only available system tools and data to propose solutions * Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines * Demonstrated excellence in customer service and account management * Very strong analytical and problem solving skills * Solid capability to confront unstructured problems with structured solution approaches * Strength in developing and executing strategy while applying operational excellence principles * Some travel may be required **Technology Focus & Requirements** * Candidate must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook * CRM, Visio, SQL, MS Project & Access are preferred
