Summary
The Sales Analyst will provide analytical support to the Sales Operations and Sales Leadership teams. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Sales Leadership in weekly forecasting, variance analysis, updating and distributing regular reports, managing quota and territory assignment, and performing ad hoc analysis. The ideal candidate will be someone who is extremely detail-oriented and thrives in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with Sales Leadership and other Sales Operations teams to consolidate weekly sales forecasts * Analyze forecast data to ensure accuracy, identify trends and monitor sales activity * Assist in preparation and variance analysis of monthly sales reporting * Update and distribute reports on a weekly basis, consolidate reports, ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency * Assist in Sales Quota assignment and Territory Management activities * Maintain Americas and International sales goal files, ensure all updates are made in a timely manner and are coordinated across systems including Salesforce.com. * Assist field sales management with territory changes * Assist in development of analyses and presentations for the Senior Leadership Team, Sales Management and Product Management * Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Ideal Candidate
* BS required in Business, Finance * 2+ years experience in an analyst role (FP&A or Sales Operations) * Expert level knowledge in Excel (pivot tables, v-look-ups, advanced functions) * Ability to manage large data files and compile data from multiple sources * Proficient with Salesforce.com and PowerPoint * Basic understanding of database concepts, Access or SQL a plus * High degree of accuracy * Ability to interpret and draw conclusions from data * Ability to manage multiple priorities * Work with confidential data * Interface with colleagues at all levels of the organization * Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results oriented business environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
