Responsibilities

Support Army Product Office leadership as an executive assistant and supervise or provide work direction to junior administrative assistants, as needed. Comprehend and prioritize tasks involving multiple procedures, manage time and deadlines well, and provide direction to others. Maintain responsibility for balancing the urgency of competing demands and communicate with leadership to ensure appropriate actions are taken. Complete multiple assignments efficiently and apply critical thinking to discern priorities with minimal directions. Provide outstanding service in the face of changing and challenging situations, seek out best approaches to improve quality, and work to be recognized as a trusted advisor by leadership. Use advanced software packages, including SharePoint, Defense Travel Services (DTS), and Microsoft Office. Formulate written documents and executive correspondence with minimal need for revision or corrections and comprehend and convey complex instructions orally and in writing.

Ideal Candidate

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as an executive assistant
  • Experience with Army Regulation 25
  • 50 and preparing and managing correspondence
  • Experience with using the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Experience with using common office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, projectors, and PC printers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS)
  • Knowledge of the Manpower Information Retrieval and Reporting System (MIRARS)
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • AA or AS degree preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
