Responsibilities
* Work closely with your Project Manager to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting and billing for the project * Review project labor and expenses to ensure precision posting to the project * Maintain organized project contract files, understand contract terms, especially with regard to method of compensation and subconsultant terms * Provide accurate invoices to clients per contract terms; coordinate consistent invoices and payments per contract terms * Draft initial project modifications in Oracle for approval by the lead Project Accountant * Review and process subconsultant invoices * Establish and maintain subconsultant contracts * Direct Biller on invoice requirements, including preparation, format and distribution, and follow up on any delinquent accounts receivable and/or unbilled costs through resolution * Review project financial position and alerts lead Project Accountant on any noted issues * Implement and verify document control process * Assist in downloading and uploading files from FTP sites * Assist and prepare written documentation at each submittal phase * Assisting in assembling/maintaining project correspondence, i.e. job site reports, meeting minutes, letters, transmittals and electronic file requests
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting * A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Project Accounting or Project Controls for a professional services Architect, Engineer or Construction Firm (AEC) * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro * Familiarity with Oracle is preferred * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral * Great organizational skills and strong detail orientation * A proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to thrive in a rapidly growing work environment * Strong analytical skills, decision-making ability and project management skills
