This represents an increase of $0.08 per share, or 15.1%, over Snap-on's previous quarterly dividend of $0.53 per share.
Summary
Responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial forecasts, the annual operating plan, quarterly business review meeting materials, and related analysis.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of accurate and meaningful financial forecasts, analysis and business models * Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan and quarterly business review meeting materials * Provide financial planning and analysis support to the various lines of business, as appropriate * Assist in the preparation of financial presentations * Perform ad hoc financial analysis, as required * Update reporting templates on a quarterly basis to support the forecast process * Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Four-year degree in Accounting/Finance as well as 1-2+ years’ related business experience. * Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interface across functional groups. * Financial modeling skills utilizing PC spreadsheet and database software. * Experience with forecast processes. * Experience with Excel. * Familiarity with Hyperion Planning or comparable planning software. * Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP System. * Formula functions Vlookups/sumif; Linking files; Setting print ranges. * Strong analytical skills, accuracy and dexterity with numbers. * Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks within time constraints. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Team-oriented and self-motivated to learn and advance the company’s focus on rapid continuous improvement. * Able to accommodate working late hours occasionally.
