Summary
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for resident communication, campaign management and evaluation, marketing and support. Works closely with Community Services Manager/Coordinator, Director of Operations and Lend Lease Marketing Manager to implement marketing strategies that support and enhance the projects occupancy goals and communicate project happenings. **text**
Responsibilities
**Occupancy Marketing & Management:** * Develop traffic generation strategies and establish relationships with community organizations to support traffic generation. * Conduct a market survey regularly analyzing trends, identifying opportunities and recommending strategic and tactical plans to maximize competitive market position. * Identify marketing opportunities and tactics to attract and retain residents. * Develop and implement an active occupancy marketing plan and budget. Provide regular status updates and reports outlining progress and revisions to plan. * Draft and develop resources to support occupancy marketing, inbound marketing and leasing needs including advertisements, referral or concession campaigns, leasing binders, floor plans, etc. * Develop performance measures and evaluate success levels of marketing campaigns, programs and occupancy strategies contained in the marketing and occupancy plans. * Ensure that all material distributed externally meets Lend Lease branding guidelines. **Resident Communication:** * Resident Communications (draft newsletters, mass emails and other resident focused communication). * Provide website and Facebook updates and serve as liaison for Property Management staff. * Support the development of resident education resources (survey, safety, sustainability, environmental, etc.) * Participate in organizing marketing programs and support resident service programs. * Work with leasing and community management staff on revising, updating and developing resident information packages (move-in, move-out, marketing, etc.). * Ensure that all internal material (for both residents and employees) is branded and professional. **General:** * Wears the prescribed uniform at all times during work hours. * Attends trainings, workshops and meetings as position requires. * Position may require attendance at special events on nights and weekends. * Promote and practice incident-injury free (IIF) and sustainability. * Adhere to company policies and procedures. * Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all residents, families, visitors, vendors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. 1. Commits to recognize and respect cultural diversity for all customers (internal and external). 2. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers with respect of differences in cultures, values, beliefs and ages, utilizing interpreters when needed . * Performs other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**Job Requirements:** * Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of marketing, market research, measuring results, branding principles and tactics including social networking, multimedia and the internet. * Superior written and verbal communications skills * Ability to build positive working relationships * Ability to work effectively and positively with team members, military families, and individuals at all levels of different organizations. * Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work * Able to work to deadlines * Ability to influence and persuade others * Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high expectations. * Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. * Expected to attend special events, some of which may occur in the evenings or on weekends. **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in related field (marketing, public relations, advertising, finance, management, business, real estate, and communications) preferred **Experience** * Minimum of 2-5 years of professional marketing experience preferred and 1-3 years property management or real estate industry experience is preferred **Certifications/Licensure** * Every employee must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy. **Computer Skills** * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe. **Other** * Some properties may require employees to provide their own vehicle for business use.
