At Weight Watchers International, you will be working with a fast paced development team located off-shore and on-shore to design, build, implement, and deploy Web and Mobile based applications. Using Agile techniques, you will be responsible for running Scrum Teams and delivering solutions that delight our Product Owners and Members.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of one or more teams, which includes leading Agile meetings (Backlog, Planning, Review, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand Ups)
- Advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams
- Embrace a servant leader role across scrum teams and support them by proactively identifying and removing impediments and dependencies
- Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution and consensus among the team members and dependent teams
- Balance personal ownership and accountability of immediate responsibilities with the flexibility and drive to jump in and fill gaps across the team as they arise
- Create a motivational, transparent, collaborative, fun, and trustful environment where teams can work efficiently and deliver high-quality products quickly
- Encourage and enable others

Work with multiple co-located and distributed Scrum teams (off-shore and on-shore) Conduct Scrum Ceremonies: Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Grooming, Demos/Reviews and Retrospective Manage Sprints - keeping order, process, delivery, priorities accurate and on time Keep scrum team focused on concrete priorities while keeping outside influences from disrupting the Scrum team Ensure user stories, use cases, etc. are clear, concise and feasible Work with Product Owners and QA team (off-shore) to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting the Sprint timelines
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – must be an active certification
- 3+ years experience running software development projects using Agile methodologies
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business, or Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, or Bachelor or Master's Degree in Information Systems
- Ability to manage multiple of tasks and scrum teams in parallel is a must
- Proficient knowledge and use of Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experience with Retail and Workforce Management systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational, leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and human relations skills
- Effective analytical and problem solving skill
