JDA Senior Business Systems Analyst

This position is responsible for the implementation and support of the Supply Chain Management process area solutions utilizing JDA and SAP functionality. The ability to analyze, design, test and implement systems, which enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives, is critical to the success of this role. This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of the SCM processes/functions in JDA and SAP, as well as key integration points with Purchasing, Order Management, and Finance.

* Experience and a deep understanding of JDA Demand and Fulfillment functionality and the associated configuration is a must * Knowledge and experience with SAP is strongly preferred * Support the existing JDA/SAP design, JDA/SAP application configuration, and custom system enhancements / integration points * Provide additional support to key Supply Chain processes as needed * Document requirements for new functionality as required in support of the Supply Chain processes, which may include JDA and/or SAP application configuration, custom enhancements and custom reports * Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end state deliverable * Develop functional design specifications in support of existing and new application requirements * Determine business impact and ROI on new business processes * Collaborate with various technical teams to evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution and minimize impact to performance * Develop and execute functional unit test cases in support of new application requirements * Collaborate with cross functional teams to perform test activities (e.g. string, integration, performance, user acceptance) * Responsible for managing design issue/defect resolution * Support the deployment of production applications and provide post-production support related to the custom system enhancements, and integration points * Interact with users from various functional areas (production, purchasing, logistics, truck routing, material master etc.)

* Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experience * 6 - 8 years of experience in an Information Technology systems analysis function, working with end-users to translate business requirements into system specifications * 3 - 5 years of JDA configuration experience * 2 - 3 full life-cycle JDA implementations * Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organization * Experience with complex implementations that include custom solutions associated with JDA and SAP * Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle implementation and production support * Experience with shell scripting in a JDA environment * Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies and tables * Proven ability to research and assess potential JDA and SAP solutions in support of new business requirements * Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to JDA and SAP to coordinate and assist with detailed technical design * Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed * Experience in wholesale distribution and/or retail a plus * Excellent analytical skills * Ability and flexibility to quickly learn new applications and software * Ability to work with teams or independently * Experienced in leading / project managing specific pieces of work, people and/or deliverables * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite * Solid organization, time management, and project estimating skills * Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and as a team member. * Willingness and ability to travel as required (travel will be very, very light/occasional for integration activities only)
