Summary
As part of the Loyalty and Personalized Marketing team within the Marketing and Digital Commerce, the Analyst is responsible for working on projects across a broad range of business issues, leveraging insights from all departmental capabilities to influence strategies and tactics for supplier funded direct customer marketing initiatives. Responsible for the execution of the Loyalty and Personalized Marketing strategy by partnering with merchants, suppliers and loyalty insights to advise on direct marketing strategies that meet Walgreens, supplier and customer needs in an omnichannel fashion. Responsible for communicating back to the business groups to take action and presenting to all levels of management.
Responsibilities
* Partner with merchants and suppliers to develop relevant targeted customer communications, including but not limited to, direct mail, email, programmatic, etc., that serve specific brand objectives. Assist in campaign strategy that delivers best in class customer targeting that generates a positive response rate, ROI and meets aggressive supplier partnership goals. * Act as expert with in-depth knowledge of loyalty direct marketing and its translation into business strategies * Leverage functional expertise, supplier/partner knowledge and industry information to drive thought leadership in merchandising and marketing and assist business leaders in leveraging direct marketing as a way to grow their business * Maintain knowledge of competitive/industry merchandising trends to stay abreast of best practices * Participates in post-campaign assessment of direct communications to show business impact * Collaborates cross-functionally to accomplish activities. Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities. * Seek out ways to increase operating efficiencies with supplier/partner negotiations, campaign management, post campaign analytics and interactions with internal and external collaborators
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma / GED and at least 1 year of experience in promotions, marketing, retail, analytics, pricing, consumer packaged goods, insights, vendor collaboration, consumer research, inventory, category management and/or business analysis. * Experience with MS Office Suite. * Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates. * Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. * Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines. * Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's Degree OR MBA * Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives). * Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors.
