Summary
As a strategic partner, aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated value stream. Partners with respective value stream at all levels to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. As a partner to the value stream, embed corporate, group and local Human Resources strategy and providing professional Human Resources guidance and support to internal customers with the objective of adding value to the business. Interface with all levels of leadership, while maintaining a strong regular presence on the factory floor.
Responsibilities
* HR support for approximately one third of the Lewiston Operations. Includes such things as strategic planning at the department level, consistent application of policies, employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, hiring and termination process, and employee development. * Oversee the Staffing process for CCI/Speer, including management of the Internal Job Bid System, Applicant Testing, Applicant Tracking/Flow, Background Checks, On Boarding process, and New Hire Orientation. Manage Salary Non-Exempt employees in department in support of staffing process. * Coordinates with location Health Department to case manage and maintain communication with employees on various leaves of absence. * Create HR reports, leverage use of the HR systems to automate processes and pull data for analysis. * Make decisions about hiring hourly and recommend salaried personnel, interpreting policy and benefits, and reviewing supervisory decision on personnel issues. * Coach, counsel, and guide managers to promote positive employee relations.
Ideal Candidate
* 5-10 years minimum experience in Human Resources. * Experience in a manufacturing environment. * Display familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations. * HRIS knowledge and experience (Workday preferred) * BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred. * SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (PHR/SPHR) certification preferred * Able to work 10 hour days for 4 days during work week (plus some hours worked the 5th day frequently)
