Summary
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic execution of the vision, mission and values of Virool. This visible leadership role will manage the majority of Virool’s internal departments. This includes the development, implementation and improvement of all key systems and resources to support the fast-paced growth of the company and to achieve financial strength and operations efficiency. We need a strong executive leader and business-savvy communicator with a collaborative and thoughtful approach to help take our organization to the next level.
Responsibilities
* Partner with the co-founders (CEO and CTO) to define corporate strategies and operational roadmap * Provide day-to-day leadership and general management to the overall population to foster a results-oriented, accountable organization * Spearhead new business opportunities and develop new commercial models with Virool’s global sales team * Do a full audit of internal processes to determine operational gaps and solutions * Consult leadership on potential business opportunities by evaluating risk and creating operational execution plans * Maintain company P&L, manage company financials and deliver cost efficiencies by defining and managing financial policies and procedures * Motivate and optimize talent across all departments by allocating resources, defining job responsibilities and implementing structured performance goals and metrics in partnership with HR * Evaluate tools and implement processes that will result in accurate company data to drive informed business decisions * Develop policy and procedures and assure company is in compliance of all applicable laws and industry standards to scale with rapid global growth objectives * Represent the company with clients, prospects, partners, and investors * Manage all contracts, NDAs and other legal documents
Ideal Candidate
**Key Requirements** * 15+ years of related work experience * Experience working in an advertising ecosystem * Strong business acumen especially in sales, consulting, technology and operational finance backgrounds * Proven track record of strong financial management * Experience leading in an ambiguous startup environment that scaled to over 300+ employees * Fluent in advertising technology, emerging programmatic commercial models and Saas Service Models * Results-proven track record of scaling a high-performance organization during rapid growth **Personal / Professional Qualities / Qualifications** * Outstanding leadership skills with a results-oriented approach to strategic decision-making * High level of emotional intelligence * Passionate thought leader who thrives in mentoring and coaching others to succeed * Exceptional communicator to diverse audiences * Experience in Adtech and/or Media is preferred
