Responsibilities
**Responsibilities** User Experience Designer for Workforce Portfolio, important role to deliver UX designs for workforce facing experience, including; mobile and web. Responsible for the user experience and user interface design for workforce facing projects. The UX Designer will be responsible for working with partners from requirements phase through production delivery. The UX Designer will follow the processes and standards established by the UX Design Team. The typical project spans multiple Verizon organizations and this position requires coordination and clear communication across the teams. The UX Designer is responsible for all aspects of the design; from Information Architecture, Mind Maps, Wireframes, UI Design, Prototypes and Audits of production builds. - User experience designer for critical, high-visibility projects involving design of interfaces for Verizon employees and customers throughout our complex portfolio including Ordering systems, Communication systems, Marketing efforts and general practice and guidelines for all applications. - Engagement with and presentation to senior management and executives of design direction and execution. - Engagement with external marketing vendors and internal groups to develop and deliver a consistent user experience aligned with brand standards. - Mentoring junior designers for future high performance contribution
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications** - B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience - 5+ years of Design experience within consumer product, enterprise, mobile and/or web design - Proven experience delivering projects - Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at varied levels within an organization - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies - Ability to analyze and document design processes and independently identify opportunities for improvement - Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter - Applicant must be able to push ahead with design projects and drive progress with little oversight. - Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize competing work demands with little oversight - Ability to work effectively both independently, within a team and between teams - Demonstrated capabilities for creativity and innovation - Possess a high level of knowledge and proficiency Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop a must) **Desired Skills :** - 3+ years of Design experience designing responsive web sites - Have hands-on experience designing mobile apps - Master's Degree in Interactive Design or Human Factors
