Summary
This position supports to the Security Architecture/Engineering Program (SAEP). SAEP is responsible for ensuring design solutions address security requirements, and enforces implementation of common security services and security zones.
Responsibilities
* Support the Security Architecture/Engineering Program (SAEP), ensuring any Joint Base Pentagon design solution addresses security requirements and correctly implements common security services and security zones. * Ensure design reviews are IAW with all applicable government directives, approved frameworks, industry standards, including, but not limited to, DOD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Instructions, Directions, policy, regulations, guides, NSA security guides, government directives and government approved frameworks. * Conduct security design reviews for Emergency Project Engineering Review Meetings (ePERM). * Participate in meetings and working group reviews (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, or Requirements; Configuration Standards Board; new technologies or customer project reviews; Configuration Control Review Boards; Technical Analysis and Cost Estimates). * Generate Project Design Review Reports (PDRR) identifying findings, violated security standards, evidence and recommended mitigations, overview, status in Development Lifecycle, and Courses of Action (COAs). * Research and develop Security Architecture & Engineering Framework Whitepapers to assist Security Architects, Functional Proponents, Engineers, Administrators, Auditors, and others to validate their design processes and deliverables. * Review, update and integrate any approved Common Security Architecture & Engineering Framework changes into SAEP, processes, methodology and services.
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements** * Top Secret Clearance * IAT Level II (Current GSEC, Security+ with evidence of continuing education, SSCP, or CCNA-Security). IAT Level III (CISSP, CISA, CASP, GCIH or GCED certification) desired * Operating System Certification (e.g., Windows 7, Windows Server 2012) * CND-AU (Current CISA, GSNA or CEH certification) * CCNP or higher network certification desired. **Desired Experience** * 2+ years experience performing duties similar to those described above
