Summary
We are searching for an Inside Sales Manager for our Merchant Sales team. Ideally this person will be located in Denver CO with limited travel to other regional buildings in Durango CO or Phoenix AZ. The primary focus of the Merchant Sales Manager is to grow and develop the sales team to sell Vantiv solutions and services to new customers.
Responsibilities
* Manage Inside Merchant Sales Executives who are responsible for closing service sales transactions over the phone (SE's). * Trains, mentors, coaches, and supervises SE team. * Has thorough knowledge of the organization's products/services and stays abreast of new products/services as they become available. * Prioritizes and allocates resources according to business needs. * Works with SE's to help develop channel partnerships. * Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. * Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all Vantiv employees and departments by keeping a positive attitude and a collaborative focus in all interactions that occur with the Merchant Sales team. * Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. * Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). * Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. * Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. * Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. * Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. * Manages, perhaps through subordinate leaders, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
Ideal Candidate
* A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is strongly preferred; HS Diploma with equivalent work experience will be considered. * The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years professional sales experience with 2 years of experience in a direct sales management role. * Strong planning and execution skills, strategic thinking and judgment are essential. * Exceptional presentation skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet aggressive sales objectives, and mange simultaneous activities.
