Summary
Our ABC Millwork & Cabinetry division is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Chanhassen, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, dedicated, and continuous improvement-minded leader looking for an opportunity to impact the performance of an already solid company.
Responsibilities
* Provide back-up for Transportation Supervisor and Dispatcher, Production Supervisor, City Desk, and Operations Manager. * Assist Production Supervisor with production scheduling, training, procedures and standard work, capacity measurements for work cells and equipment. Generate shop measures and root cause analysis. * Assist Transportation Supervisor with checking out drivers, scheduling delivery modifications, DOT administrative tasks, couriers, and safety training. Generate Delivery measures and capacity. * Changes to production schedules and expedites. * Print and distribute work orders as necessary. * Administer all phases of time clock management including but not limited to: entering new employees, reviewing daily punches, reviewing attendance policy compliance. * Assist with new employee training and on-boarding. * Assist in scheduling building and equipment maintenance, perform maintenance. * Complies with operational safety and security policies and procedures. * Adheres to the Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. * Other Duties as assigned by Management.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a solid understanding of production and manufacturing processes, lean and problem solving techniques. * Applicants must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. * Proficiency with computers, ERP systems and Microsoft Outlook is required. * Knowledge of the construction or building industry is preferred. **Classification** * This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
