Summary
Ultimate Software is seeking a customer focused, highly energetic, and experienced individual to join our Select Services Team as a Data Management Representative. Select Services strives to deliver exceptional quality service and effective communications with our customers. This role is responsible for assisting with client data changes, while exceeding our customers’ expectations. This individual has a strong passion for people, building relationships, and accurate data management. This individual will report to the Manager, Payment Services Client Data Management.
Responsibilities
* Manage customer data changes and adds * Conduct an analysis of customer tax filing requirements needed for tax filing set-ups * Develop strong relationships with new customers and alignment with our internal payroll partners * Ensure that all customer current period and prior period data is entered and balanced in the UltiPro Tax filing system * The accurate and timely capture of customer tax-ids, deposit frequencies, and employer specific tax rates with sufficient documentation to enable USG to defend its actions with third parties without further contact from our customers * Partner with customer and WP/ENT Activation teams to ensure changes are completed timely * Help establish workflow, prioritization, and process optimization of data and back-up documentation * Participates in the auditing of back end client profile data * Complete assigned project tasks and cases, related to data changes * Partner with customers to ensure required legal and Payment Services forms are signed and filed with appropriate taxing authority * Partner with Support and internal teams to update and maintain core customer profile data for existing customers * Provide backup to Payment Service Support team and after hours work, as necessary
Ideal Candidate
* Must be able to manage in an organized, proactive and independent manner to meet all required time frames and commitments * Strong oral and written communication skills * Excellent customer service skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Proven case management, auditing, and workflow experience * General understanding of payroll and payroll tax industry experience * Experience with data auditing, case management experience, and data control * Process/operational excellence experience is a plus * Previous experience with SaaS based client data profiling, configuration, and data updates * 2+ years business experience in client services * Highly motivated and team oriented * Ability to solution problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors * Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Education/Certification/License: * Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience will be considered * Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is desirable Travel Requirement: None or Limited Travel upon request
