Summary
Develop strategies to leverage the networks of Twilio's engineering group for qualified candidates. Work with engineering management to qualify needs, then proactively identify, reach out to and create interest among qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
* Work hand-in-hand with our engineering group to develop a comprehensive sourcing strategy. Create and own a process to leverage the networks of our engineers, drive referrals and generate warm leads. * Implement multiple creative sourcing techniques to independently identify and engage qualified candidates. * Provide performance metrics and data to identify areas of improvement in the recruiting process. After a few months on the job, the Lead Technical Sourcer should be able to make data-driven process improvement suggestions. * Act as first point of contact for passive candidates and get them excited about Twilio. * Schedule initial calls with recruiters and/or hiring managers.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 2+ years of technical sourcing experience. * Proven track record for successfully identifying and engaging exceptional engineering candidates. * Demonstrated experience using multiple creative sourcing techniques to identify niche skill sets. * Creative self starter who thinks outside the box. Proactive and works best with minimal direction. * Strong technical knowledge and aptitude. Comfortable interacting with engineering management to qualify requirements. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. **Bonus points:** * Social media savvy; experience sourcing candidates via social media channels. * Experience planning and executing recruiting events.
