This role is instrumental in cultivating a successful and loyal client base through relationships founded on quality service and successful marketing strategies. As Vice President of Client Services and Insights, you will lead and coach a team of 19 talented professionals who provide research, account management, and analytics-based marketing recommendations to our clients. Our dedicated client services team serves as trusted advisors to our clients, developing and executing integrated marketing strategies. This department is a powerhouse for creating effective and measurable campaigns, and you have the opportunity to lead and expand it. This role is a vital contribution to the achievement of True North’s short-term and long-term goals through client retention and revenue expansion and by fostering a collaborative and highly communicative work environment. Our ideal candidate will have deep marketing experience and be an even-keeled, solution-oriented individual who understands the value of being a true leader.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a high-level strategic resource to direct reports, and a trusted advisor to the CEO. * Maintain an understanding of how and when new content marketing strategies and technologies can be effectively used. * Mentor direct reports to become trusted advisors by developing their ability to be strategic thinkers and astute marketers. * Ensure the marketing insights team provides actionable client insights to the client services team. * Facilitate strong interdepartmental and intradepartmental relationships. * Resolve sensitive client situations turning client encounters into learning opportunities. * Work with the sales team to support and advance new business opportunities, often under tight time constraints. * Ensure clients feel adequately supported by being directly involved in the resolution of significant issues and challenges. * Act as a positive role model, earning trust, support and confidence of the internal team.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as an account supervisor in an advertising agency environment with proven success working with clients and creative teams * A thorough understanding of current and emerging content marketing trends, technologies, and strategies in a variety of industries * Experience using data and analytics reports, segmentation, and research, and understanding their unique uses for creating the most effective campaigns * Experience working with digital marketing within an integrated marketing campaign * Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field * Healthcare experience a plus
