Summary
As Product Manager, Revenue Optimization, you will drive revenue optimization initiatives across all Viator retail channels (desktop, tablet, mobile, and native apps), for major referral channels (SEM, SEO, Direct), and across multiple languages. You will help develop the revenue optimization strategy and roadmap and build sound business-driven hypotheses, rapidly experiment with new features or functionality, learn and iterate, and grow the Viator bottom-line. Your objective is to convert shoppers to bookers, applying your testing methodology and framework to improve overall conversion and increase conversion rates at each stage in the commerce funnel and ultimately drive revenue growth. You evangelize your hypotheses and define specifications for new experiments in conjunction with product owners and the design team. You lead the analysis/integration of results to communicate the learnings. You also research and develop revenue-centric best practices for the Product team and across the entire Viator organization. You have a passion for understanding the intersections between user experience, psychology, marketing, copywriting, design, and statistics. You are highly analytical, hands-on, open-minded, creative, good with numbers, results- driven, entrepreneurial, and a quick learner. Most important, you are a team player who can execute and deliver results by working cross-functionally with product, marketing, design, and engineering.
Responsibilities
* Use a data-driven, hypotheses-based model to deliver optimization initiatives. * Work closely with Analytics and UX teams and use variety of analytics and customer insight tools to discover and vet hypothesis. * Employ quantitative and qualitative analysis tools like Adobe Analytics, past test results, and click heat maps, session recordings, surveys and user labs to discover optimization opportunities across the retail channels. * Drive decision making and strategy with data and analytical insight. * Measure, report and analyze results across products; Sharing wins, key learnings, trends, insights and reports to stakeholders. * Initiate, recommend, roll out, test and iterate scalable revenue optimization programs across the business that drive and accelerate revenue growth. * Drive and monitor targeted A|B and multivariate tests to optimize revenue, conversion and other key performance and engagement metrics across all Viator consumer platforms and languages. * Make intelligent trade-offs between resources available and provide innovative solutions even in situations where all the desired data may or may not be available. * Build strong relationships throughout the product development process by partnering with a variety of conversion focused internal teams. * Manage technical projects, track progress towards milestones, and keep tabs on all the moving parts of a major testing theme. * Apply a user centric design approach and be an advocate for consumers.
Ideal Candidate
* 5 years of experience at a e-commerce/online retail company * Experience in defining and executing tests based on a specific set of assumptions/ Hypothesis and goals, iterate and continue improvements as required. * Experience with Adobe Analytics, including Ad Hoc/Discover or similar * Experience with enterprise testing suites such as Adobe Target or similar. * Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to draw insights and recommendations from analysis and present proposals to internal stakeholders. * Exceptional project management skills, driving multiple initiatives and roll outs to tight deadlines. * Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills * Strong technical background and ability to partner closely with engineers * Be prepared to occasionally work out of usual business hours when required to teleconference with Australia or Europe, as necessary; Able and willing to travel to Australia, as necessary * Familiarity with travel industry concepts, practices and procedures a plus
