Summary
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the internal and external marketing strategy for new sales, up-sells and retention. In this role, you will be working with Product Management, Sales, Technology, Marketing, and directly with customers to understand opportunities facing the business and the vision for the product. You will also lead go-to-market strategies showing strong value proposition and partner with technology to influence the product road map to enhance the value proposition.
Responsibilities
* Lead all efforts for go-to-market strategy including pricing, value proposition, sales tools and segmentation targeting. * Develop marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement. * Help define our target and create clear product positioning and compelling messaging to communicate the seller benefit and overcome usage barriers through pricing, product packaging, case studies and presentations. * Develop market segmentation and targeting based on customer insight. * Collaborate closely with Product Development Managers, identifying new product opportunities and defining a product road map that drives growth and usage of seller services. * Take full accountability for business results, setting clear, measurable product marketing goals and tracking progress against user and product goals. * Lead analysis of marketing programs and make recommendations that continually improve the efficacy of go-to-market plans. * Work closely with customer facing team on analysis and product recommendations for large sales activities.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred * At least 2+ years of marketing, brand, product marketing, and/or consulting experience * Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset * Experience leading, partnering, and influencing cross-functional teams * Creative thinker with a passion for solving the toughest problems in a way that are mutually beneficial for the product sellers and the company * Thrives in an independent environment where tasks, priorities and projects change rapidly * High energy & positive mindset that embraces any challenge * Strategic, Analytical Thinker: combine analytical marketing skills with hypothesis-driven thinking to solve complex problems * Content Expert: drive campaign strategies, gaining buy-in from internal partners from development through to idea execution * Proven Results: have a clear track record of customer satisfaction and driving dramatic growth through marketing strategies and campaigns * Collaborative Leadership Skills: know how to influence senior management and inspire teams cross-functionally * Previous experience in business-to-business marketing
