Summary
The Director of Product Management for Kinnser Software, Inc. is responsible for the overall product strategy and execution from conception to launch through collaborating with customers, senior management within executive, engineering, marketing, sales, and client service teams and guiding the product management team including product owners and business analysts. This position is integral to our success in delivering the best in class solutions to our customers and the industry. Reporting to the SVP of Product Management, the Director of Product Management will own Kinnser’s industry leading Home Health solution including: strategy, functionality, go-to-market, and sales empowerment. S/he will work to ensure products address market need, align with overall corporate strategy and meet company revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The Director of Product Management will play a critical role in defining the strategic direction of the product line, while leading and growing a team of A players.
Responsibilities
Drive the strategic and tactical direction of product development for the entire product portfolio * Through management of people and projects, ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch * Oversee product owners in development of customer/user research requirements and initiatives and the translation into user needs and detailed product requirements, planning and design * Work closely with executive team members and department leaders, manage competitive industry analysis and identify areas for differentiation * Partner closely with Product Marketing and Client services teams to measure and oversee customer experience quality throughout the product development lifecycle * Work closely with engineering and executive management on product roadmaps, Beta Programs, and product planning programs * Set project priorities and working through team leaders advance projects from development through implementation, including staffing requirements, work plans, reporting, deadlines and quality standards * Manage recruitment and growth of product management teams including hiring and screening personnel as well as performance evaluation and development
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of progressive experience in product management to include experience within high-growth technology B2B SaaS enterprise * Clinical degree and workflow experience * Proven success in scaling and leading product management teams * Ability to work as an effective leader and ability to develop working relationships needed to accomplish organizational goals * Ability to solicit constructive input from and build consensus among groups and constituencies with differing priorities and perspectives * Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility
