TMX Finance is seeking a Real Estate Manager to join the Real Estate team and to be based in Los Angeles, CA. The Real Estate Manager will provide direct oversight of the Company’s long-term real estate portfolio and implementation plans. This person will be primarily responsible for supervising the California market prioritization and site selection process for expansion, and coordinate the efforts of real estate brokers, developers, and landlords in a manner to quickly and efficiently open store locations.

* Acquire and review significant amounts of demographics, psychographics, and related information needed to make an informed analysis of, and recommendations for acquiring, obtaining, or disposal of leased properties * Analyze and evaluate data on a wide variety of real estate matters, including title information, architectural documentation and property surveys * Liaise with Company’s legal team regarding lease negotiations * Execute site selection and negotiation of contract/lease terms for company stores * Maintain acquisition activities on a high volume of potential sites to deliver desired number of new store locations per month * Overall objective is to assist in maximizing the economic value of the company’s real estate portfolio * Execute negotiations and document lease extensions and other lease amendments * Resolve escalated landlord/tenant disputes and permit issues

* Bachelors Degree required * 3 to 5 years in corporate retail real estate site selection * Expertise with new and current market development and site selection * Strong technical aptitude in a robust real estate management database, preferably Accruent * Commercial real estate site selection and approval with a high-volume multi-unit retail company * Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project * Standing, walking, sitting, repetitive, movements, and use of mechanical controls, such as keyboard, are frequently required Due to the volume of resumes we receive, please be advised that only those candidates that we are interested in pursuing for an interview will be contacted.
