Responsibilities
Job Summary - Provides analytical, marketing and support to senior level personnel; - Provide transaction related services (market analysis, space tours, financial analysis, drafting proposals, etc.) in the leasing and management of buildings or portfolios of buildings in the Tri-State area. - Team member of a small portfolio of real estate properties (up to 2 million rsf) and achieving set performance targets under the direction of more senior personnel and/or assisting senior management with major accounts Principal Responsibilities - As a team member and in conjunction with senior personnel: - Works with senior management to develop and maintain financial and valuation models to analyze the effect on value of various leasing scenarios, decisions relating to operating items and capital projects under consideration - Respond to broker inquiries, conduct tours of property with prospective tenants, negotiate lease terms which conform to established leasing criteria (and prepare accurate analysis for determination of variance), review leases, renewals, expansions, recasts and terminations on owner’s behalf - Preparing and updating reports and related materials (stack plans, planbooks, lease abstractions, building specifications, etc.) for ownership - Calculate commissions - Coordinating marketing programs - Assists in the development of agency leasing plans which consider market conditions, strategic stacking, capital resources, disposition plans and building value - Liaising between brokers and ownership
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications - Minimum 1-3 years of experience in real estate or real estate related activities - Bachelors in real estate, business, finance, or related field required; - NY State Real Estate Sales license required Required Skills - Knowledge in the preparation of financial analyses, valuation models and analytical skills - Knowledge of advanced word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation management - Advanced organization and coordination abilities - Familiarity with the Manhattan real estate market and commercial real estate concepts - Skill in conducting space tours and negotiating basic lease terms - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with co-workers, clients and others
