Responsibilities
* Provide product management support for Point of Care product portfolio and business objectives to POC team including; market segment research and analysis, customer and competitive analysis, product positioning, generating value proposition, performing financial analysis and financial modeling and other duties related to the product, pricing, promotion and distribution of the point of care products and services. * Responsible for securing Voice of Customer inputs where necessary for market requirements for new & updated products to R&D teams * Initiates marcom to develop promotional materials, product launches, collateral materials, catalogs and web updates * Responsible for updating key marketing reports for product segment including; sales growth, revenue, and market share * Attend trade shows as a product management representative to interact with customers, provide training to the commercial team, and collect competitive information * Updates team members on any key developments about products within the segment * Assists in delivering training to commercial team, channel partners and customers * Provides technical support and training for segment products * Prepares reports for post launch performance tracking
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent plus 3-5 years experience in progressively more responsible Product management / Marketing roles. MBA preferred * Previous experience in a regulated clinical diagnostic manufacturing environment. 1 year Point of Care experience required. * Ability to travel globally up to 30% of time. * Basic understanding of quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements for medical devices or diagnostics * Basic understanding of supply chain, ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing operations, FDA & GMP compliance, process improvement and process development and reimbursement policies around the world * Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional team members. * Superior organizational skills with ability to multi-task and balance complex and routine work activities. * Excellent communication skills for group presentations and intercompany written and verbal communications
