Summary
The job of the Associate Product Manager is to be responsible in collaboration with broad product and marketing teams for maintenance and growth of product lines, internal and external product training, competitive market analysis, tracking and reporting on product performance metrics in all forms to drive new and current business.
Responsibilities
* Manage the product life cycle from product planning to tactical activities for assigned category * Responsible for the day-to-day support for all product related tasks across all functional teams * Product vendor invoicing & annual due diligence * Client product reporting * Coordinate requests associated with partner audits * Manage product benefit/content changes associated with existing product websites * Work with consumer experience to update and manage product intranet site * Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market assessment supported by interaction with Client Management team * Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Business Development, IT, Service Delivery, Channel Marketing, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, functional business requirements, product contract, and positioning * Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and collect customer requirements * Stay informed of program policies, procedures, relevant laws and government regulations as applicable to the category * Analyze market dynamics and requirements and develop Product Requirements Documents (PRD) * Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide go-to-market plans, working with all departments to execute * Analyze potential partner relationships for the product and support and maintain existing partner relationships * Responsible for product line profit and growth (P&L) goals

**Qualifications:** The Associate Product Manager is measured on the continual improvement of product adoption and management, as well as the increase in new enhancements into the program through the consistent deployment of services and benefits to our business partners and consumers. Success criteria include: * Product cost saving and effective partner management across category * An increase in defined customer engagement metrics * Meet overall operating profitability rating as determined by annual plan **Position Requirements:** * 3 - 5 years of product management or product planning experience * College degree in Marketing or business required * Experience in services marketing, such as identity protection services, discount club membership * Segment solutions and profitability focused, creative, collaborative * Detail-oriented, process focused, forward thinking, marketing knowledge and acumen * Project and service lifecycle management skills, strong sense of urgency and drive for results * Ability to make decisions, develop and manage teams, excellent communications * Tenacity to ensure solutions meet customer needs * Financial and operational acumen (Budget Management) * Broad understanding and experience in multi-channel go-to-market strategies * Demonstrated success in managing services in both highly competitive and high growth markets * Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with thoroughness and precision. * Must be a self-motivator/starter and able to work well in ambiguous situations * Stellar oral and written communication skills * Excellent analytical skills required to turn information into actionable insight * Must have demonstrated relationship-building skills to get work done, and be a collaborative team player * Passionate advocate for best-in-class consumer experience
