The Communications Director will be an architect and daily implementer of Theranos’ global framework to position its cutting-edge brand and tell its story of revolutionizing healthcare to the world. This individual will be committed to innovation, and possesses strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and the highest integrity. This individual will develop and implement the company’s public affairs communications programs. The position requires a collaborative entrepreneur with pitch-perfect strategic judgment.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of the company's public relations and communications strategy.

• Work closely with executive leadership.

• Effectively position the Theranos brand.

• Develop and oversee all external corporate and public affairs communications efforts.

• Manage a best-in-class global communications team.

• Bachelors or Masters degree and 10+ years of leadership in public relations, public affairs, or marketing role.

• Effective and committed manager.

• Demonstrated strategic skills deep knowledge of effective public relations tactics.

• Excellent verbal, writing, and editing skills.

• Agile thinker ability to respond quickly in shifting situations.
