Summary
As the Strategic Planning Manager for Nike Design, you will be a part of a small team working closely with the Vice President of Global Design and the Global Design Leadership Team, helping to drive their strategic agenda. You will help facilitate strategic planning processes, including long term visioning, annual planning, and general business planning.
Responsibilities
Within Design’s portfolio, you will help prioritize and support key initiatives through research and analysis, and collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Human Resources to deliver. You will develop high-impact presentations to support and communicate Design’s vision and strategy. You will develop business planning tools to communicate historical information, prepare for possible business priority changes, and enable future resource planning. You will help identify opportunities within resource allocation and evaluate tradeoffs across zones of investment. You will identify and develop KPIs against plans and establish scorecard tools to communicate progress. On a daily basis, you will be asked to deliver: strong quantitative analysis (digging deep into the numbers to get to the bottom line), compelling presentations (drawing clear conclusions and making a strong case), and clear communication (helping to align and coordinate across teams). Ultimately, your success will depend on your ability to quickly form both professional and personal relationships with partners and then drive to rigorous, well-communicated deliverables.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree required * MBA or higher degree preferred * 4+years total experience in Management Consulting, Strategic Planning, Market Research, Business Operations or a related field * Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative research, reporting and analysis to drive recommendations * Proven ability to support and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams and provide project management support * Logical problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills * Superior writing, communication, presentation skills, interpersonal * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; Mac/Keynote skills also highly preferred * Ability to deal with ambiguity and working in a dynamic, results-oriented environment * Ability to pass a background check
