Summary
This individual will be responsible for the support and retention of high net worth client relationships, supporting investment advisors and portfolio managers who handle revenue producing books of business. This individual will be responsible for ensuring an excellent client experience, including working with a team of specialists to manage the client relationship. Onboarding new relationships, retaining and deepening client relationships and handling all client requests are the keys to success in this position. This individual also works closely with the PW Middle Office to ensure a seamless experience for the client. The ability to successfully identify and manage compliance and risk management issues is also important.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for providing trust and agency administration services for basic to moderately complex client relationships. * Handle assignments from Investment Advisor, ensuring prompt turnaround and adherence to established service standards. * Assist with administrative duties including but not limited to account/contact maintenance, discretionary distribution requests, plans of distribution, client correspondence, etc. * Work collaboratively with Investment Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Trust Advisors to ensure seamless service for clients. * Exhibit good judgment in handling assignments, seeking guidance and input from Supervisor as appropriate. * Process work in a manner that minimizes client complaints or the threat of litigation. Escalate all such potential situations to Supervisor’s attention promptly. * Prepare trust administrative and investment reviews in time for Advisor review prior to Committee meetings. Follow up on open action items and resolve in a timely manner. * Assist with gathering information for internal audit and regulatory exams; assist with preparation of Committee minutes and reports as requested
Ideal Candidate
* Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Good trust administration skills including basic experience reading/reviewing trust documents. * Good knowledge of investments (including equities and fixed income instruments) and basic tax concepts. * Strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills; attention to detail and accuracy important. * Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently, without constant managerial oversight. * Excellent quantitative abilities that include very high levels of accuracy. * Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. * 3-7 years of prior trust administration experience. * College degree strongly preferred; no prior supervisory experience necessary.
